This commitment means we have pledged to follow the best practice safety measures when we carry out boiler installations or gas maintenance work in your home. We also ask you to follow some guidelines that will protect your household as well as our installer.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS, NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY. You must seek medical advice and follow UK Government guidance on self-isolation.

Is the home visit necessary?

We will ask you if it is possible to resolve your queries without the need for a visit.

It might be possible for us to conduct a virtual survey to quote for your work using video-calling technology. We might even be able to help you to safely resolve the problem yourself.

If a visit to your home is needed

There are some preparations we ask you to make for us:

• Make us a clear pathway to the area we will be working.
• Open internal doors so we can minimise contact with door handles.
• When we arrive, ask to see our identity card and ask us what measures we will be taking to work safely.
• DO NOT shake hands with the engineer.
• Keep a 2m distance from our staff at all times.
• Ask household members to stay in another room while we work.
• Don’t offer us a drink – we will bring our own.

Payment

Once the work is done, please pay using a credit or debit card if possible, rather than cash.
