Many boilers have a warranty which is only maintained if it is regularly serviced. Boiler manufacturers are committed to supporting their customers throughout this period and will offer some flexibility around timescales for servicing. A service holiday of up to six months is being offered by several boiler manufacturers to allow customers reschedule planned boiler servicing while remaining within their warranty guidelines.

• If you are self-isolating or think that you could have Coronavirus, we ask as a precaution that you tell us when arranging an engineer visit so we can plan our approach. Any visit to a self-isolating customer is being reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• To ensure we get to as many vulnerable people as possible during this time, we are balancing demand and capacity carefully so we can prioritise the neediest.

For our part, all our engineers will:

• Self isolate if they or their families are displaying any possible symptoms of Covid-19
• Ask customers to clear areas where we are going to work
• Not shake hands with customers on arrival
• Maintain social distancing between themselves and customers whilst at your property
• Carry PPE (personal protective equipment) to safeguard their workplace
• Get regular coaching and updates on how to work safely and hygienically at this time
