Badly Leaking St Helens Boiler

In this situation the boiler had been operating until it didn’t!  We were called out to have a look at the boiler as the customer had reporting no hot water and had also noticed a leak forming underneath the boiler but didn’t know exactly where it was coming from. 

After a conversation with the office, an appointment was scheduled for a investigation.  The engineer found that the Worcester boiler had developed a leak on the internal manifold/flow turbine.  The required replacement parts were identified, the estimate was provided to the customer and accepted.  L&W St Helens Plumbing and Heating Services returned and completed the repair, getting the boiler back into working conditions – to the delight of our customer.

It is very important that the boilers service schedule is always kept up to date as the leak may have been identified during the service & repaired.  What could have been a minor job turned into a more expensive repair.
