With the announcement that the entire country is going back into lockdown, we wanted to let you know how this will affect you if you need the services of a heating engineer or plumber in Lockdown 3.

The new government announcement puts the whole country into lockdown. The good news is that we are still available for customers who need an emergency plumber or heating engineer in the areas we cover. Of course, we will continue to follow all social distancing guidelines.

What are the restrictions in Lockdown 3?

People in England must stay at home. You can only go out of your home for essential purposes. Primary and secondary schools will be closed for all pupils except for vulnerable and keyworker children.

The legitimate reasons to leave home include:

• Work, if it is “not reasonable” to work from home.
• Shopping for essentials such as food or medicine
• Moving home
• Meeting with a support or childcare bubble.
• Exercise outdoors (once per day). You can meet one other person from another household outdoors in public to exercise
• Education, childcare, medical appointments and emergencies
• Children may move between parents if they are separated
• Attending places of religious worship
