Last year, the boiler company Worcester Bosch launched two new boilers: the Worcester Bosch 8000 series and Worcester Bosch 2000 series. They are positioned at either ends of the domestic market. Here are the answers to some questions about the Worcester Bosch 8000 series, which we can supply and fit for our customers.

Combination, or combi boilers produce heating as well as hot water on demand as needed, without the requirement for a water storage cylinder. This type of boiler is a great solution for properties with limited space thanks to their compact, single-unit form.

What options are available?

The options are either a Life or Style appearance. The Style is available in black or white. There are also Regular, System and Combi variants. The Combi variant has an industry-leading flowrate of 20litres per minute.

Are there any new features on the 8000?

The 8000 has a touch screen, multi-coloured interface. There are plug-in controls that link to a room temperature controller or via WiFi to a Broadband Router to allow the boiler to be operated and monitored remotely.

Another unique feature is the auto-filling device which allows a measured top-up of the system when the pressure drops from leaks so you do not have to call a service engineer every time.

What aesthetic changes are there?

Black and white options have been introduced to match new kitchen appliances. They have rounded edges, a gloss finish and clean lines to bring boiler design right into the 21st century.
